Monnette (Mo) Lucas brings over 30 years of experience to her role as a Service Advisor at Yeargan’s Automotive. Originally born in Germany, she moved to Pittsboro, NC as a child and later settled in Apex after high school. Her journey in the automotive world began with a mission—to change the way customers experience car care by creating an environment built on trust and integrity.

Mo’s background includes a wide array of certifications, from automotive repair training at Central Carolina Community College to leadership development like the Dare to Lead program by Brené Brown. Her well-rounded expertise even includes becoming a master certified technician. In addition to her automotive career, Mo has served in the military and worked as a police officer—further showcasing her dedication to service.

 

Outside of work, Mo is all about family, faith, and fresh air. She loves helping at her church, camping, fishing, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her home life is just as lively, with two dogs—Benny Bear the Pomsky and Shruffy the Chihuahua—a sugar glider named Holt, and a farm full of horses, cows, and chickens.

 

Mo’s favorite places include the mountains for peaceful getaways and the excitement of Las Vegas. At Yeargan’s, what she appreciates most is the team’s shared commitment to integrity, core values, and treating everyone like family.

 

Her advice to car owners? “Take care of the small maintenance items on your vehicle—it’ll save you money down the road.”
